Remote Incident Communicator™ [RiC™] is a wearable personal safety device designed to operate as a remote control for existing emergency notification systems. At the press of a button, users can instantly declare an emergency and verbally describe the current situation. After initial actuation (depending on the version), it can live-stream audio/video while providing advanced location monitoring capabilities for first responders, enabling them to coordinate highly-effective life-saving rescues.

WHAT IT DOES
RiC™ acts as a ‘panic button’ that immediately connects users with administrative offices or monitoring companies to call for help. When paired with a mobile phone with a pre-installed emergency app, it can push-notify 911 that an emergency has occurred and provide the exact location, immediately followed by a 4–15 second recording by the user describing the incident.
