RiC™ Communicator

 Remote Incident Communicator™ [RiC™] is an easy-to-retrofit single- or dual- gang light switch cover/emergency safety device designed to install like a standard light switch cover, but which also contains remote monitor and lockdown switch capabilities (emergency-activated video monitoring available), as well as an intercom feature for local two-way communications.

At the press of a button, or via remote acutating by way of the RiC™ Communicator, or via coded voice command, users are able to instantly notify the system of an emergency. After initial actuation, RiC™ Communicator can live-stream audio and/or video (depending on the version) while providing location information in real time for first responders, enabling them to coordinate highly-effective life-saving rescues. RiC™ Communicator also has an Emergency Lockdown Lever that when activated can initiate site-specific lockdown protocols.

HOW IT OPERATES
RiC™ Communicator acts as a ‘panic button’ that immediately notifies the monitor to call for help (note: admins can easily program individual codes for emergencies to avoid false positives). RiC™ Communicator push-notifies 911 that an emergency has occurred and continuously provides the exact device location in real time. Additionally, it provides graphic and text feedback about the current emergency status.
